Circus for Arts in the Schools is a benefit to support arts education in Alameda. Highly accomplished circus performers donate their time and talents for a great cause and a great show.
Proceeds from the 2004 Circus for Arts in the Schools has made it possible for Paden School to implement the Julia Morgan Center for the Arts Institute program.
This form of arts education joins together performing and visual artists with classroom teachers and media specialists. As a team, they develop and implement lesson plans for students based on the integration of visual and performing arts with academics.
Proceeds from the 2005 Circus for Arts in the Schools will make it possible for the expansion of the Julia Morgan Arts Institute Program to include three schools in the Alameda Unified School District: Otis, Paden, and Washington. Other AUSD schools will have the opportunity to receive support for arts education by selling Circus tickets at their schools.
